Pre-Educator Pathway Part Time Teacher (25-26 school year one period a day and working to build a program)

Harrison School District is accepting applications for a 9-12 secondary Pre-Educator pathway part-time position for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The position will be a part-time (.14 FTE) teaching position. Primary duties will focus on the secondary Introduction to Education course.  Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
● Foster a classroom environment that promotes student learning and personal growth
● Design and deliver specialized instruction aligned with English Language Arts standards
● Implement High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) effectively
● Build and maintain positive rapport with students to support engagement and success
● Inspire students to develop essential skills, attitudes, and knowledge based on individual abilities
● Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with parents, colleagues, and the broader school community
● Complete and manage required documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
● Analyze and apply student assessment data to inform instruction and improve outcomes
● Communicate clearly and professionally within all areas of the school community
● Utilize learning management systems and digital tools (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom) to enhance instruction
● Obtain or currently hold Google Level One Certification
