Elementary Music Teacher

Harrison School District is accepting applications for an Elementary Music Teacher position for
the 2022-2023 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) K-4 teaching position.
Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is
preferred, but not required. 
 
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
● teach music education to pupils in grades K-4
● help pupils grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a
variety of planned music experiences which include singing, moving to music, playing of
instruments and listening to music
● create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
● establish effective rapport with pupils
● formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members
● demonstrate effective communication within the school community
