Job Requirements:   
Arkansas Teaching License in Special Education 
Meet Arkansas Qualified Teacher Status
Knowledge of IDEA Requirements
Professional knowledge of disability categories and best practices
Proficient in Due Process Paperwork
Appropriate classroom management skills 
Knowledge of effective instruction and data collection
Knowledge of effective behavior de-escalation techniques  
Effective engagement of students in the classroom
Supervise and support personal care needs of students including ability to lift 40 lbs 
Proficient integration of technology in the classroom
Display excellent people skills
Supervision of paraprofessionals as assigned
Experience preferred
