CTE Business Teacher - Harrison High School
Harrison School District is accepting applications for an CTE Business Teacher position for
the 2022-2023 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) 7-12 teaching position.
Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is
preferred, but not required.
 
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
● Job Requirements: (Include, but not limited to)
o Arkansas DESE 7-12 Business certification
o Arkansas Qualified Teacher Status
o Knowledge of effective instruction and disaggregation of data
o Create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
o Appropriate classroom management skills
o Effective engagement of students in the classroom
o Proficient integration of technology in the classroom
o Display excellent people skills
o Willingness to engage in collaboration and the PLC process
o Effectively use LMS and digital resources (CANVAS/Google Classroom)
o Attain or possess Google Level One Certification
