Special Education Self-Contained Classroom

Job Requirements:    
Arkansas Teaching License in Special Education
Meet Arkansas Qualified Teacher Status
Knowledge of IDEA Requirements
Professional knowledge of handicapping conditions and best practices
Proficient in Due Process Paperwork
Knowledge of behavioral best practices and de-escalation techniques
Appropriate classroom management skills
Knowledge of effective instruction and data collection
Effective engagement of students in the classroom
Supervising teacher to paraprofessional(s)
Proficient integration of technology in the classroom
Display excellent people skills
Experience preferred
