Description
Harrison School District is seeking a Secondary Math Teacher position for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 9-12 teaching position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering specialized instruction aligned with Math standards, and for fostering a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Required Qualifications
● Licensure: Must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification.
● Status: Must possess Arkansas Qualified Teacher (HQT) status.
● Previous experience is preferred but not required.
● Willingness to attain or possess Google Level One Certification.

- Instructional Leadership & Curriculum: Create and deliver specialized instruction following Math standards; motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation per each pupil's ability; and demonstrate experience in examining, interpreting, and using student assessment data.
- Classroom Environment & Management: Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with pupils; and ensure strong student engagement.
- Communication & Collaboration: Formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members; and demonstrate effective communication within the school community.
- Technology & Operations: Effectively use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital resources (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom) ; and develop and maintain required paperwork.
