8 th Grade Math /ALGEBRA I Teacher

Harrison Middle School is accepting applications for an 8th Grade Math position for the 2022-
2023 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE)
This teaching position is within the Harrison Middle School. Primary duties will focus on grade 8
Math Standards for 8 th grade Math and Algebra I. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas
DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. 
 
Harrison Middle School is seeking an individual who will:
● create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
● establish effective rapport with pupils
● motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good
foundation for Middle School Education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability
● formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members
● use formative and summative assessments with colleagues to improve student learning
● demonstrate effective communication within the school community
● adept with learning management systems and digital instruction (Canvas, Google Classroom,
etc)
● attain or possess Google Level One Certification (Preferred)
